Principal's Message

Mrs. Samantha Carlisle brings more than two decades of dedicated experience in education to the Lorraine Elementary School community. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Virginia State University, graduating Summa Cum Laude, a Master of Education degree from Regent University, a Leadership Certificate from Georgia State University, and an Education Specialist degree from Lincoln Memorial University.

A passionate advocate for student achievement, Mrs. Carlisle has served as a classroom teacher, Instructional Technology and Data Specialist, Assistant Principal, and Principal in school districts across Georgia, South Carolina, and Virginia. Throughout her career, Mrs. Carlisle has been recognized for her commitment to excellence and innovative leadership. Her honors include Outstanding Technology Teacher of the Year, Southern Crescent Pearls Foundation Pearl of the Year, and Serving in Excellence Award. She has also led schools that earned state and national distinctions for academic achievement and school excellence.

Mrs. Carlisle is excited to return to Rockdale County and looks forward to partnering with students, families, staff, and the community as Lorraine Elementary continues its proud tradition of excellence.
